The company

Menden in Westfalia, though geographically located in the northern Sauerland, always has been influenced by the nearby Ruhr area and thus looks back on a centenarian industrial history.

Menden is also a piece of native soil, centre of life for many of us, place of work, centrally located and with amicable contacts to clients and suppliers - in the vicinity, regionally and Europe-wide.

What once was started as locally orientated handicraft business for car tarpaulins by optimal Planen- und Umwelttechnik GmbH, in the meantime has rapidly evolved into a medium-sized production and service entreprise which acts nationwide and beyond.

For more than 10 years, we have developed and manufactured system solutions out of tarpaulins and technical fabrics for industry and environmental protection.

11 colleagues - 4 women and 7 men - each of us with an individual personality: different tempers, views, religion and nationality - but always a strong team!

Our aim and our daily challenge are first-class product quality, continuous striving for further improvement and consequently customer-orientated services.
